Rochester Academy of Music & Arts goes to Carnegie Hall
Enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience, only for RAMA students!
Give a solo performance on the historic Carnegie Hall stage!
Plus, enjoy our partnership with the luxurious Skyline Hotel in the heart of Manhattan!
Disney Steamboat Cruise & Concert
Every year, RAMA takes music students on a magical, musical tour of Lake Ontario! Perform your favorite Disney, Star Wars, or Marvel song, dress in costume, get a scenic tour of the Lake Ontario Shoreline, and more!
In October, the Academy holds a Halloween Spooktacular Party & Performance. Academy teachers dress in costume and perform Halloween classics. There are games, prizes, actvities, pumpkin decorating, and more. One of the highlights is the large costume contest held in the middle of the show!
Our most recent event was held at Boulder Coffee Co., and was named by the Democrat & Chronicle as one of the Top Ten Halloween Activities in Rochester!
The Academy offers a special Frontier Field event, in which students can sing the National Anthem before a Red Wings game! Featuring Premium Box Seats for the game,, just for RAMA families, a fireworks display, & more!
This event is for guitar, piano, drum, & violin students, too...not just for singers!
Every spring, the Academy holds a fundraiser event to benefit a local Pet Rescue Organization. The event features teacher performances, free food & snacks provided by top local eateries, and a huge raffle for prizes from local businesses. All raffle funds go straight to the Pet Rescue.
Over three years, the Academy has raised nearly $13,000 for Nuts for Mutts Pet Rescue.
Twice per year, the Academy holds a Free Photo Day for students. Featuring a professional photographer, full backdrop and lighting setup, musical props, family posing opportunities, and more. These are no ordinary portraits, these are a chance to show of your love of music! Plus, all digital prints are free for students.
